Is your child prepared for Grade 1?
The answer is a school readiness assessment. There is a strong correlation between school readiness and academic performance. During the school readiness assessment various areas are assessed namely social, emotional, physical and intellectual capabilities. The assessment starts with an initial interview with the parent which after the child will be assessed. I believe in an extensive assessment and is the assessment usually done over two sessions as the young child’s ability to concentrate for an extensive period of time is limited. Exemptions can be made where necessary.
School should be an exciting new chapter—not an overwhelming one. A readiness assessment ensures your child begins their journey with confidence and support.
